It’s been a year now, since I started this site. A blank space dedicated to express with words or phrases, some of the many thoughts wandering around my mind, as life lessons or feelings becoming uneasy sensations.

“Why would someone want to read about you?” They asked me, when I talked about this idea of my personal blog. My answer was an immediate smile, followed by a confession that pretended to act as an argument:

I write for me…

I’m not doing this to please others. I write because I love to create this new ways of having fun, challenging myself, and living. I’m doing it to save memories and treasure moments. The ones I cannot allow myself to forget. Sometimes… I’m even trying to look for the answers I don’t have.

I write to exist. I write to thank everything and everyone that surrounds me, for the opportunities, for the mistakes, but also for the achievements. As the writer Jules Renard once said, “writing is a way of talking without being interrupted.” It is like yelling with no audience. Like that night on stage when you know there’ll be only one person in the public, and you still walk in there proudly. Maybe that person won’t care what you said, or actually listened to a certain phrase, or in the best case scenario, that one person will become now a supporter…

It may all happen…or nothing at all. However, I’ll write.

I said it the first time and I confirm it a year after, still here, still happy. If no one reads this, I’ll do it for me. If many people read me, thank you! You ‘re  part of my motivation and I just love it. But if there’s only one person reading me, but felt or thought something with what I share, thank you so much, honestly, thank you.

This material comes from my life, about arts, dance, traveling, my family, experiences or a common wiserack. Though, at the end of the day I write trying to be more precise with my words and demonstrate it with any reader. I write to communicate… and I recognize that there’s always an opportunity for continuous improvement and learning.

Perhaps someone felt interested by accident, although I prefer it to be by choice. Meanwhile, I hope to keep finding something that captures and inspires me.

For 365 days…Thank you for spreading it, for stopping by at this part of myself, for smiling, or relating, for your comments… for giving me a part of your time, for being here…Thank you for reading.

THANK YOU FOR A YEAR SHARING EXPERIENCES.
