March 24TH was my birthday. I celebrated it by traveling somewhere else. I visited a great friend in Mexico City. Her name is Graciela and although her family and loved ones call her by another nickname, sometimes, I also like to call her Grace.
When we met, it felt like we were best friends from years ago. We share a genuine friendship. We agree on so many issues and we differ in just a few. The important thing is that we can always keep in touch and support each other, laugh and above all, live the moment, letting everything flow naturally.
With that last sentence of the previous paragraph, that’s how I could define this trip. Memories of laughter and beautiful photos, with another view of the big city, anecdotes to remember and new people with whom I hope to continue creating more stories.
We all want to be traveling always and live on vacations, however, the daily routine, shores, and work, demand another rhythm. Although I think that is why we enjoy the moment of rest so much. When you can just get away, and relax fully.
Fortunately I was able to give myself a quick trip with my friend and visit. I enjoyed it a lot, walking around Coyoacán, visiting some iconic spots like Bellas Artes and downtown, Chapultepec, museums and of course, eating some of the typical dishes.
There are so many places to visit, that you cannot follow schedules easily. It is a great city with a lot of everything and has its charm. I confess that the plan is to return and continue with more anecdotes, both, the ones that are planned and those unexpected.
I definitely celebrated a happy birthday. With a smile, that does not need explanations. Celebrating with more enthusiasm the opportunity to continue growing, working on my projects and goals in detail.
I give thanks for so many opportunities. For the people that surround me, for those who come and go, for those from yesterday, today and tomorrow. I thank you that you read me.
I appreciate that moment when I can recognize my mistakes and find wisdom, strength and patience so I do not fall on them again. I try to stay focused without losing my center and in that way, being able to share experiences for much longer.
I’m all in for my 25 years. More calm but at the same time with more energy. Because I still have a lot to accomplish, to live, learn and of course… there’s still more to write.
Thank you for sharing with me in this blog, in this space of letters, experiences and emotions. As always, there’s the same simple option, to keep going forward. Let’s do it!
What a mystical soul that you are lady, Grace: For receiving me, for your trust and all the attention and kindness from your family, your brother, roomies and friends. Thank you!
